possible extension of tax credit

Currently the $8000 tax credit for First Time Homebuyers is set to expire on 12/01/2009.
There is talk that Congress will OK an extension until Jan. 1, 2011. Forget about increasing the credit to $15,000 and offering it to all buyers-not just for first timers.
I'm so excited I received an approval for a buyer that lives off of the "grid". She has a savings account; but no checking. No credit cards, she didn't even have a credit score. She deposits her check and takes enough cash to go and pay all of her bills. She even pays her rent with cash. No paper trail. When I called her and told her that we have an approval and by the end of the month the house will be hers, she was so happy that she started crying. I guess that's why I stick with this business.
